The seemingly neverending buzz about casting for New Moon, the second film in the Twilight saga, continued over the weekend as it was finally confirmed that Dakota Fanning will indeed be starring in the movie. The rumors surrounding Dakota's casting have been going on for months. In February, the teenage star played coy about it, saying, "It would be really cool to be a part of Twilight if it works out. I'm a big fan. I saw the first movie but I haven't read all of the books yet, I'm working on it."
